Our Management Team



Dee Ray Peterson

Dee Ray Peterson was the founder of the Office Shop Inc. He graduated from Cowley High School in Cowley, Wyoming and then attended the University of Wyoming majoring in Business. In 1951 he began his business career working at Big Horn Canning Company. This company was founded in 1925 by Dee Ray’s father, Ren Peterson and Uncle, Rob Peterson. Dee Ray was serving as President of the Canning Factory at the time it was sold to Portland Canning Company in 1969. When the plant closed in 1970, Dee Ray began wholesaling office supplies to retail stores throughout northwest Wyoming and south-central Montana. By 1976, the business had begun retailing office supplies and office equipment to businesses in northwestern Wyoming. At the time of his passing in July 2000, The Office Shop Inc. had grown to 20 employees and was serving northwest and Central Wyoming from two locations.




Joel Peterson President
Joel began working at the Office Shop in 1980. He has 30 years of experience in the office equipment industry. He has served as President since 2000. He oversees our “award winning” service staff. During his administration, the Office Shop Inc. has grown from two to four locations and nearly doubled in annual sales.




Ray PetersonRay Peterson Vice President
Ray is a veteran of over 28 years in the office equipment business. He currently is responsible for 
large furnishings projects. His duties include specifying, bidding, and managing large commercial, education and government furnishing contracts.




Randy PetersonVice President
Randy began working at the Office Shop Inc. in 1976. His 34 years of experience includes both service and sales of office equipment. He has managed the sales staff and marketing since 2004.
